The call for applications for Wikimania Scholarships to attend Wikimania 2010 in Gdansk, Poland (July 9-11) is now open. The Wikimedia Foundation offers Scholarships to pay for selected individuals' round trip travel, accommodations, and registration at the conference. 是否应该禁止图片上传 编辑

关于Special:Import启用transwiki的建议 编辑

We are in a bit of a time crunch to get the Chinese translations for the fundraising materials. As you may know, we launch next Monday the 15th – and really don't want to have English pages on Chinese projects.

Wiktionary favicon 编辑
Hello! I hope I'm allowed to write in English here as I don't know Chinese. Could somebody please translate me? Several months ago there was a discussion over changing Wiktionary favicon here: link to bugzilla. It died because the developers didn't want change it unless there was a documented community consensus (as there's no possibility to change it locally - the change will affect all Wiktionaries). The main reason for change is that the Wiktionary favicon is now the same as the Wikipedia one, which leads to confusion and doesn't help Wiktionaries to gain recognition. The new favicon has been created:

- Hi! Thanks for the message. Personally I prefer the new icon over the existing one, but I don't think there are many active users here though. Anyway I will do a brief translation and see if anyone is interested.
