詞源 编辑
源自梵語 स्वस्तिक (svastika)，源自सु (su, “好的”) + अस्ति (asti)（表示“存在”的動詞，源自स्वस्ति (svasti)）+ 指小後綴 क (ka)。原義為“與幸福有關係的小物件”、“吉祥好運的標誌”。英語中最早見於1871年，用來代替希臘化的gammadion。1932年以後，也常用來指納粹黨的類似圖案（德語 Hakenkreuz）。
