用法

• |type= type of verb compound, one of the following (this is not required when the type of verb compound does not fall into the listed ones)
  
  • Verb-object (動賓結構), e.g. 洗澡 is denoted with Template:VoN
  • Verb-complement (i.e. verb-adverb) (動補結構), e.g. 殺死／杀死 is denoted with Template:VcN
  • Subject-predicate (主謂結構), e.g. 頭痛／头痛 is denoted with Template:SpN
  • Modifier-head (i.e. adverb-verb) (偏正結構), e.g. 重述 is denoted with Template:MvN

  where 〈中〉 is the length of the first segment in the compound; defaults to 1 if not explicitly written. This inserts a which denotes the break.

• |pagename= specifies the page name. Defaults to {{{{PAGENAME}}#tag:syntaxhighlight|{{{2}}}|lang=text|inline=}}.
• |sc= specfies the script of the headword. This is usually automatically detected.

• 洗澡:

  {{zh-verb|type=vo}} 洗⫽澡 (动宾结构)

• 殺死／杀死:

  {{zh-verb|type=vc}} 殺⫽死 (动辅结构)

• 頭痛／头痛:

  {{zh-verb|type=sp}} 頭⫽痛 (主谓结构)

• 拉埋天窗:

  {{zh-verb|type=vo2}} 拉埋⫽天窗 (动宾结构)
