中國雲南省香格里拉市一個季節性湖泊納帕海，其在秋冬季節會幹涸。香格里拉市舊名中甸市，在2014年12月16日為了宣傳當地旅遊業，按1933年詹姆斯·希爾頓著《消失的地平線》中的虛構地名更名為了現用名。
