關於匿名代理編輯問題 編輯

我用的雞場裡面幾個比較方便的線路總是被維基媒體廣域IP封禁，要找到可以用來編輯的IP很耗時很不方便，所以想申請一下IP封禁豁免，但是我們又沒有類似Wikipedia:權限申請/申請IP封禁例外權的頁面，在維基百科申請維基詞典的IP封禁豁免好像又不太合適，我們要不要創建一個申請頁面用來處理申請。——Hzy980512（討論） 2021年1月28日 (四) 01:17 (UTC)[回覆]

漢字條目分詞問題 編輯

可否參照英語維基詞典做法在中文簡體頁（或中文繁體頁）中文一節設置軟重定向，不要直接重定向到對應異體字條目。如獨立，應與独立（現在為重定向頁）做區分，尤其是其中頁面有漢語、日語、朝鮮語、越南語4種語言，其中三種都不適用於此重定向的情況更不應該設置重定向，且此詞彙日語不應該寫在繁體頁面。 另此設置重定向的方式是否有相關規定？搜索後僅搜到一非正式常規頁面。現存頁面也有簡繁兩頁共存的情況。哪一種情況更符合本地的做法呢？--LaMagiaaa（討論） 2021年2月16日 (二) 14:44 (UTC)[回覆]

Proposal: Set two-letter project shortcuts as alias to project namespace globally 編輯

Hello everyone,

I apologize for posting in English. I would like to inform everyone that I created a new global request for comment (GRFC) at Meta Wiki, which may affect your project: m:Requests for comment/Set short project namespace aliases by default globally.

In this GRFC, I propose that two-project shortcuts for project names will become a default alias for the project namespace. For instance, on all Wikipedias, WP will be an alias to the Wikipedia: namespace (and similar for other projects). Full list is available in the GRFC.

This is already the case for Wikivoyages, and many individual projects asked for this alias to be implemented. I believe this makes it easier to access the materials in the project namespace, as well as creating shortcuts like WP:NPOV, as well as helps new projects to use this feature, without having to figure out how to request site configuration changes first.

As far as I can see, Wiktionary currently does not have such an alias set. This means that such an alias will be set for you, if the GRFC is accepted by the global community.

I would like to ask all community members to participate in the request for comment at Meta-Wiki, see m:Requests for comment/Set short project namespace aliases by default globally.

關於Module:labels/data中使用的縮寫 編輯

根據Wiktionary:不適合維基詞典的內容#維基詞典不是什麼第4條，我們沒有篇幅限制，不應該像紙質詞典一樣使用「口」，「舊」一類的縮寫，而且Template:lb也經常用來寫一些其他的自定義label（比如「常用於女性」等），自定義label都是全稱，時而全稱時而縮寫有失一貫性和美觀，所以建議將Module:labels/data中的這些縮寫統一改成全稱。 --Hzy980512（討論） 2021年4月3日 (六) 04:28 (UTC)[回覆]

  • Global bots are now subject to a 2 week discussion, and it'll be publicized via a MassMessage list, available at Bot policy/New global bot discussion on Meta. Please subscribe yourself or your wiki if you are interested in new global bots proposals.
  • For a bot to be considered for approval, it must demonstrate it is welcomed in multiple projects, and a good way to do that is to have the bot flag on at least 5 wikis for a single task.
  • The bot operator should make sure to adhere to the wiki's preference as related to the use of the bot flag (i.e., if a wiki doesn't want a bot to use the flag as it edits, that should be followed).

From April 15, you can enable line numbering in some wikitext editors - for now in the template namespace, coming to more namespaces soon. This will make it easier to detect line breaks and to refer to a particular line in discussions. These numbers will be shown if you enable the syntax highlighting feature (CodeMirror extension), which is supported in the 2010 and 2017 wikitext editors.

更新Module:Languages的getByCode等導出函數 編輯

現在在非詞源模板引用VL.（通俗拉丁語）等language code時模塊不會自動去Module:Etymology languages的數據項中查找語言代碼，會導致像trovar#西班牙語這樣的Lua錯誤，enwikt中的模塊已經會嘗試去Module:Etymology languages的數據項中尋找語言代碼。請嘗試更新Module:Languages的getByCode導出函數。我看裡面除了一些錯誤說明也沒有很多其他界面消息，說不定可以直接用enwikt的代碼全部覆蓋。請視情況更新並測試，謝謝。--Hzy980512（討論） 2021年4月15日 (四) 03:43 (UTC)[回覆]

自4月29日起，能夠在模板中建議參數的值。建議值可以加入到模板資料中，並在視覺化編輯器中以下拉式選單顯示，能讓使用模板的使用者快速選擇適當的值，這樣可以防止潛在的錯誤並減少填充模板的值所需的工作量。您仍然可以填充建議值以外的值。

關於支援的參數類型及如何建立建議值等等的更多資訊，可以在[1] [2]，邀請所有人來測試這個功能，並可在討論頁上給予回饋。

Wikimania 2021 will be hosted virtually for the first time in the event's 15-year history. Since there is no in-person host, the event is being organized by a diverse group of Wikimedia volunteers that form the Core Organizing Team (COT) for Wikimania 2021.

Event Program - Individuals or a group of individuals can submit their session proposals to be a part of the program. There will be translation support for sessions provided in a number of languages. See more information here.

今年早些時候，編輯團隊對回復工具進行了一項大型研究，旨在找出回復工具是否有助於新編輯在維基上進行交流。第二個目標是查看與使用現有維基文本頁面編輯發表的評論相比，新編輯是否更頻繁地回復使用該工具發表的評論。

主要結果是：

  • 擁有自動（默認開啟）回復工具訪問權限的新編輯更有可能在討論頁上發表評論。
  • 與新編輯使用頁面編輯所做的評論相比，新編輯者使用回復工具發表的評論也不太可能被回退。

這些結果使編輯團隊相信該工具很有用。

未來展望

在接下來的幾個月內，工作團隊預計以默認開啟的方式開放回覆工具給所有使用者； 而這套模式已經在阿拉伯、捷克與匈牙利文版本的維基百科中使用。

下一步是解決技術挑戰。然後，回覆工具將優先在參與研究的維基百科頁面中使用，之後則會分階段先後在其他維基百科與所有基金會代管的wikis。

The Wikimedia Foundation tests the switch between its first and secondary data centers. This will make sure that Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia wikis can stay online even after a disaster. To make sure everything is working, the Wikimedia Technology department needs to do a planned test. This test will show if they can reliably switch from one data centre to the other. It requires many teams to prepare for the test and to be available to fix any unexpected problems.

Unfortunately, because of some limitations in MediaWiki, all editing must stop while the switch is made. We apologize for this disruption, and we are working to minimize it in the future.

You will be able to read, but not edit, all wikis for a short period of time.

  • You will not be able to edit for up to an hour on Tuesday, 29 June 2021. The test will start at 14:00 UTC (07:00 PDT, 10:00 EDT, 15:00 WEST/BST, 16:00 CEST, 19:30 IST, 23:00 JST, and in New Zealand at 02:00 NZST on Wednesday 30 June).
  • If you try to edit or save during these times, you will see an error message. We hope that no edits will be lost during these minutes, but we can't guarantee it. If you see the error message, then please wait until everything is back to normal. Then you should be able to save your edit. But, we recommend that you make a copy of your changes first, just in case.

Other effects:

  • Background jobs will be slower and some may be dropped. Red links might not be updated as quickly as normal. If you create an article that is already linked somewhere else, the link will stay red longer than usual. Some long-running scripts will have to be stopped.
  • There will be code freezes for the week of June 28. Non-essential code deployments will not happen.
This project may be postponed if necessary. You can read the schedule at wikitech.wikimedia.org. Any changes will be announced in the schedule. There will be more notifications about this. A banner will be displayed on all wikis 30 minutes before this operation happens. Please share this information with your community.

經過搜索，我發現這個稍微有點用。簡而言之，之前需要創建某模板，然後使用preload=Template%3Axxx建立頁面，如zhwiki創建用戶框；現在可以直接用preloadtext=。主要是寫腳本方便。

測試簡繁無關的錨點跳轉腳本 編輯

簡單寫了一個User:Hzy980512/hashcheck.js，主要是為了解決{{m}}等函數的hash跳轉（即URL後面的#跳轉到同一頁面的指定語言的一章等情況）在簡中詞條下無法正常工作的情況，如果各位有興趣歡迎將下列代碼添加到自己的common.js（如User:Hzy980512/common.js中）用各種PC或手機瀏覽器測試一下是否有bug，如果沒問題以後可能會加入MediaWiki:Common.js或者一個默認開啟的小工具中。我測試了一下暫時沒有什麼問題，但離實裝可能還有距離，因為還有一些如轉換字典（網上抄的）等可能需要改進。因為水平有限不免有問題，因此無論功能還是代碼編寫上都希望各位提出一下意見，典型的測試頁面有pluma，Klavier#詞源→clavier等，謝謝。

User:Hzy980512/hashcheck.js#L-12 我一般寫成(j = charPYStr.indexOf(cc.charAt(i)))!=-1，2359個字不是小數目，每輪調用一次charPYStr的意義也不明。

簡繁轉換函數我直接copy了網上的，另外直接加錨點的話加載頁面執行JavaScript後就沒法跳轉了，還需要再加一段代碼。我的代碼確實可以改得更高效一點，比如可以存一下簡化過的anchors，但是其實計算量還是比較小影響應該不是很大，主要還是看功能有沒有實現。--Hzy980512（討論） 2021年8月7日 (六) 09:47 (UTC)[回覆]

The Universal Code of Conduct Phase 2 drafting committee would like comments about the enforcement draft guidelines for the Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC). This review period is planned to begin 17 August 2021.

Community and staff members collaborated to develop these draft guidelines based on consultations, discussions, and research. These guidelines are not final but you can help move the progress forward. Provide comments about these guidelines by 17 October 2021. The committee will be revising the guidelines based upon community input.

Everyone may share comments in a number of places. Facilitators welcome comments in any language on the draft review talk page or by email. Comments can also be shared on talk pages of translations, at local discussions, or during round-table discussions and conversation hours.

There are planned live discussions about the UCoC enforcement draft guidelines:

Voting for the 2021 Board of Trustees election is now open. Candidates from the community were asked to submit their candidacy. After a three week long Call for Candidates, there are 19 candidates for the 2021 election.

The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees oversees the Wikimedia Foundation's operations. The Board wants to improve their competences and diversity as a team. They have shared the areas of expertise that they are hoping to cover with new trustees.

The Wikimedia movement has the opportunity to select candidates who have the qualities to best serve the needs of the movement for the next several years. The Board is expected to select the four most voted candidates to serve as trustees. This term starts in September and lasts for three years. Vote now until August 31.

Candidates from across the movement have submitted their candidatures. Learn about each candidate to inform your vote. The community submitted questions for the candidates to answer during the campaign. Candidates answered the list of community questions collated by the Elections Committee on Meta.

Vote

Voting for the 2021 Board of Trustees election opened on 18 August 2021 and closes on 31 August 2021. The Elections Committee chose Single Transferable Vote for the voting system. The benefit of this is voters can rank their choices in order of preference. Learn more about voting requirements, how to vote, and frequently asked questions about voting.

Please help in the selection of those people who best fit the needs of the movement at this time. Vote and spread the word so more people can vote for candidates. Those selected will help guide the Wikimedia Foundation and support the needs of the movement over the next few years.

Thank you for participating in the 2021 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees election! Voting closed August 31 at 23:59. The official data, including the four most voted candidates, will be announced as soon as the Elections Committee completes their review of the ballots. The official announcement of the new trustees appointed will happen later, once the selected candidates have been confirmed by the Board.

6,946 community members from 216 wiki projects have voted. This makes 10.2% global participation, 1.1% higher than in the last Board elections. In 2017, 5167 people from 202 wiki projects cast their vote. A full analysis is planned to be published in a few days when the confirmed results are announced. In the meantime, you can check the data produced during the election.

Diversity was an important goal with these elections. Messages about the Board election were translated into 61 languages. This outreach worked well. There were 70 communities with eligible voters voting in this election for the first time. With your help, next year’s Board of Trustees election will be even better. 關於en:MediaWiki:Gadget-VisibilityToggles.js的導入 編輯

我已將英語維基詞典中的en:MediaWiki:Gadget-VisibilityToggles.js導入到本wiki內，其相較於原NavFrame的摺疊有諸多優點：

  • 支持漢語發音表等冗長列表的摺疊
  • 默認摺疊所有表格，讀者可以按需查閱
  • 引言現在也可以摺疊了

維基媒體基金會理事會理事選舉結果發表 編輯

 

感謝各位參與2021年度理事會選舉，此次選舉旨在選出四名新的理事，選舉委員會完整檢視這次的投票屆果，有效票數來自214個專案總計6,873人參與投票，下列四名便是獲得最多得票數的候選人：

  2. Victoria Doronina
  3. Dariusz Jemielniak
  4. Lorenzo Losa

Participate in the Universal Code of Conduct Roundtable 編輯

The Movement Strategy and Governance facilitation team is hosting Roundtable discussions on 18 September 2021 at 03:00 UTC and 15:00 UTC for Wikimedians to talk together about how to enforce the Universal Code of Conduct . These calls are part of the Universal Code of Conduct project Phase 2 Enforcement draft guidelines review (EDGR).

Each session will last for 90 to 120 minutes and translation support for various languages will be provided. Also, sessions in specific languages may also be held depending on demand. Community members are encouraged to sign up in advance and add the topic to discuss during roundtable session.

If you are not able to make the roundtable session, you can provide the comments are at the draft review talk page in any language, talk pages of translations, and local discussions.

Call for Candidates for the Movement Charter Drafting Committee ending 14 September 2021 編輯

Movement Strategy announces the Call for Candidates for the Movement Charter Drafting Committee. The Call opens August 2, 2021 and closes September 14, 2021.

The Committee is expected to represent diversity in the Movement. Diversity includes gender, language, geography, and experience. This comprises participation in projects, affiliates, and the Wikimedia Foundation.

English fluency is not required to become a member. If needed, translation and interpretation support is provided. Members will receive an allowance to offset participation costs. It is US$100 every two months.

We are looking for people who have some of the following skills:

  • Know how to write collaboratively. (demonstrated experience is a plus)
  • Are ready to find compromises.
  • Focus on inclusion and diversity.
  • Have knowledge of community consultations.
  • Have intercultural communication experience.
  • Have governance or organization experience in non-profits or communities.
  • Have experience negotiating with different parties.

The Committee is expected to start with 15 people. If there are 20 or more candidates, a mixed election and selection process will happen. If there are 19 or fewer candidates, then the process of selection without election takes place.

為慶祝Linux內核發布30周年，特此發布ilscripto：純Lua的Scribunto引擎。

本引擎並不完善——如這個CS1例子會報錯，因為我沒有完全實現mw.language:formatDate。各平台、各Lua版本均需測試。

Movement Charter Drafting Committee - Community Elections to take place October 11 - 24 編輯

Dear fellow Wikimedians,

This is an update from the Movement Charter process. We have closed the call for candidates on September 14 for the Drafting Committee and now have a pool of candidates with diverse backgrounds to choose from.

The 15 member committee will be selected with a 3-step process:

  • Election process for project communities to elect 7 members of the committee.
  • Selection process for affiliates to select 6 members of the committee.
  • Wikimedia Foundation process to appoint 2 members of the committee.
Communities elect 7 members
This announcement is related to the community elections, which will take place in a time period of 2 weeks from October 11 to October 24. We look forward to a wide participation across the communities to create the committee to curate the writing of the Movement Charter. The Election Results will be published on November 1.
Affiliates select 6 members
Parallel to the election process, all affiliates asked to contribute as well: All affiliates were divided into eight geographic and one 『thematic』 region (check the list), and each region chooses one person who will act as a selector for that region. These 9 selectors will come together to select 6 of the committee (from the same pool of candidates). The selection results will be published on November 1.
Wikimedia Foundation appoints 2 members
Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation will appoint two members to the committee by November 1.

All three processes will be concluded by November 1, 2021, so that the Movement Charter Drafting Committee can start working by then.

Hello, this is just a reminder that the Universal Code of Conduct Draft Enforcement Guidelines are open for review and comment. The Drafting Committee will start working on revisions and improvement in less than two weeks (October 17), so it is important that you give them your ideas and opinions soon!

There is now a short, simple version of the Draft Guidelines here to make your review easier. If possible, also help translate the short version into more languages!

We will also hold one last conversation hour on October 15, 2021 03:00 and 14:00 UTC.

On behalf of the Drafting Committee, much thanks to everyone who has given ideas so far. We hope to hear from more of you - the Guidelines will be much stronger if more opinions are included.

The Community election of Movement Charter Drafting committee is now open! 編輯

Voting for the election for the members for the Movement Charter drafting committee is now open. In total, 70 Wikimedians from around the world are running for 7 seats in these elections.

Voting is open from October 12 to October 24, 2021.

The committee will consist of 15 members in total: The online communities vote for 7 members, 6 members will be selected by the Wikimedia affiliates through a parallel process, and 2 members will be appointed by the Wikimedia Foundation. The plan is to assemble the committee by November 1, 2021.
